SWOPLA is looking for a bilingual (English & Spanish) trans woman of color with lived experience doing SW to help co-lead a series of workshops! You would serve as our “On-Call Interventionist,” able to step in if any of our other facilitators were unable to make a session.
The workshops cover a range of topics, including gender affirming care, safety-at-work, and sexual & reproductive health, and are part of a broader research project which will follow up with the participants to document how effective the workshops have been.
- $50/hr Paid training
- $250 payment per (2hr) session when called-in
- $250 bonus per month that sessions are ongoing
- Help trans SWers of Color connect with each other!
- Gain experience in providing services, research, and facilitation
Sessions are expected to be held in-person, in Mid City/Koreatown and West Hollywood. While most sessions and the training will be in English, Translation@ Coalition will be hosting sessions in Spanish, so the On-Call Interventionist would need to be highly proficient in both English and Spanish.
