Today, and every day we honor the generations of Black people who fought for freedom despite systems built to exploit, criminalize, and control them. The organizing, mutual aid work, and advocacy of Black SWers have shaped our movements for bodily autonomy, economic justice, LGBTQ+ liberation, and resource access.
We acknowledge that liberation is not a finished project. Freedom means so much more than survival.
