41.18 Anti-Homeless Zones Map
The City of LA passed a new version of LAMC 41.18 in summer 2021, which makes it illegal to sit, sleep, lie down, or have personal property within designated areas. Kenneth Mejia and his campaign put together an interactive map that is mobile-friendly to help unhoused people and advocates navigate criminalization zones.
Affordable Housing Map
Kenneth Mejia and his campaign have put together an interactive map allows users to browse all apartments in Los Angeles with affordable housing covenants granted from 2010 to May 2021. The map shows the exact addresses and number of affordable housing units in each building.
Downtown Women’s Center
The Downtown Women’s Center has several housing programs for women and does not require that they be employed, enrolled in substance use counseling, or be receiving any kind of supportive services before they are considered eligible for housing.
Brilliant Corners
Brilliant Corners can provide housing services (flexible housing subsidies) and case management for recently incarcerated folks that have been released (trans/queer and sex worker-friendly resource). Their Los Angeles general helpline is (213) 232-0134 from Monday thru Friday 8:30-5 pm and they provide services in Spanish.
