Today is SWer Pride Day! According to the Global Network of S3x Work Projects (NSWP), which began the day in 2019, SWer Pride is an opportunity to celebrate and share stories of sex workers’ self-determination and the achievements of the sex worker rights movement. NSWP states that SWer Pride ‘extends to all marginalized by criminalization, discrimination, and stigma across the movement and celebrates the diversity within our community during International SWer Pride.’ Today SWOPLA joins NSWP in celebrating the strength, determination and resilience of workers everywhere. S*x work is work!
