Volunteer Opportunity with The Unnamed Place

We have an upcoming volunteer opportunity and would love your help with this amazing community event!
Date: August 8, 2026
Time: 9am-5pm (exact time dependent on what role you sign up for)
Location. The Unnamed Place. 1733 N New Hampshire Ave, Los Angeles, 90027
The Unnamed Place is hosting a family back-to-school clothing swap on August 8th and would love our help! Here is the info from Unnamed Place…
 
The actual event is from 11am to 3pm. However, set up will begin at 9am and we expect tear down to go from 3pm to 5pm. 
These are some of the roles we are looking to be filled:

  • SETUP We estimate this will take 3 people for 2 hours

  • Table set up in the courtyard 

  • Bringing out all donated good on to tables 

  • Properly label all tables with presentation and sizing

  • Set up bare concession stand and water station

  • Someone to periodically go out and keep the line in order

 

  • DURING

  • Concession stand (prefer to have the same person for the entire event)

    • Hot dog grill – CLAIMED

    • Nachos – OPEN

    • Drinks and cashier – OPEN (good with counting money and mental math)

  • 2-3 people who will receive donations day of sort and put out. Keep donated good tables organized

  • TUP Info table – prefer to have campus reps or people with more information of the project

 

  • TEAR DOWN Estimate this will take 4 ppl 2-3hrs

  • Bag all donated goods in the same order that they are put out on tables

  • Fold, clean, and put up tables

  • Rearrange library furniture
