Today, we remember our trans siblings whose lives were taken by hate and systemic violence.
Trans sex workers are the heart of our community and their lives were so much more than their deaths. They were our friends, our family. They created beauty in a world that tried to erase them.
Trans women of color have always led our movements — for survival, for safety, for liberation. Yet they continue to bear the weight of racism, transphobia, misogyny, and the criminalization of sex work.
Today we mourn. Tomorrow, and every day after, we fight for the living — for the joy, safety, housing, healthcare, and resources our community needs. We honor them by building the world they deserved.
